PECHS Block 6,Karachi
Low cost, but great quality, and great quantity. Perfect bun kebabs and crispy chicken burgers.
One of the best, if not THE best, desi restaurants in town. Great food, great service. If they somehow make a blunder in food or in service, they make up for it with by providing free items that are modified to your own taste. Plus right at Do Darya it has got a great view of the sea which makes dinner more memorable. Recommended items include chicken haandis, steaks, and cheese naans.
Tried the Smoke House. Double party with smoked bacon, cheese, onion rings, and BBQ sauce. Surprisingly good experience after a long time, otherwise it wasn't good on previous visits.
Have been a regular at Karsaz branch since over a decade. Spacious, courteous staff, and all supplies are always fresh. Tried the salad today and it was absolutely amazing.
Amazing servings of desi food. I won a couple of free coupons from Gulp (thank you) and tried ChaCha's express platter. Biryani rice, naan slice, chicken ginger, reshmi kebab. Amazing serving for one. Haven't tasted much better chicken ginger anywhere, even at home. Biryani rice, although delicious, could have used more meat.. Overall good experience, thanks to Gulp
Service was really slow, that's why the Kh. Sehar and SMCHS branches remain favorite. Also have had bad experiences with the chicken here, so during my last visit I ordered the chicken pita. It was okayish.
I have been having breakfast here since like 20 years. On weekends the entire street is full of their tables and hot hot halwa puri. Recommended. Zero marks on ambiance, too many flies at times.
The best place for sushi and seafood in general. Love their other items too. Pricing is on the higher end, considering it's a restaurant inside Pearl Continental. If you ever feel like trying sushi, start at Sakura.
Another wonderful visit. Tried the chilli prawn with avocado salad, portobello mushrooms with sun-dried tomatoes and feta, roasted garlic and figs with goatcheese. Amazing food. One problem with fine dining though, the allocated time slots don't fly with me a bit, as I'm a slow eater..
They have a wide variety menu for continental food, but food is bland and above average at best. Price range is higher, so absolutely no reason to visit here again. Try Buon Cibo or Arizona Grill instead.
Third favorite branch after Badar Commercial and MACHS. The service here is better located, because they always allow me to tweak the deals, like getting water instead of a drink or changing sub flavor even if the flavor is not part of the deal. Full points for cooperation.
Wow very quick service, got order within 3 mins of placing, maybe because they had chicken in the frier already. Fresh, crispy and hot, no complains.
It's my favorite Chinese, I rate it higher than Ginsoy. Being a mall outlet they have nice one person deals that include 2 mains (gravy) with rice and noodles
Food and service are absolutely amazing. Cheese naan's, haandi, even steaks, are recommended items. Too much waiting time for a table though..
Used to be good, but it's been going down in terms of taste and service. And it's on the high end of pricing, so if the food is not good anymore but still highly expensive, why would I go here again. It's sad when the best item on your visit is the Trio bucket of fries.
I dont get the hype behind it. It's just simple magnum you can get from any store, they just allow you to add toppings to it like chocolate chips or sugar sprinkles. It's fine, nothing extraordinary.
Oh man one of the best shwarma places on the other side of the bridge. Shwarma platter is so heavy that you won't eat anything else all day. Also love their fries and cheesy potatoes. Drawback is that its roadside, and sometimes you gotta eat in your car
It's similar to Arizona Grill, Roasters, Sizzlers etc etc. Menu is steaks, continental, fast food, Italian. Food is decent. Totally worth the money because serving sizes are huge. Best items are tarragon steak, nachos, Moroccan chicken prawn balls, Mongolian beef.
Not the best pizzas but decent in the price range. Good value for money. Fillings are generous too (refer to pic). Not a bad choice if you are in mood for pizza and spot a pizza max branch on your way home from work.
Dropped by for some Boston Kreme and Alaska shake, top notch service and great donut because it had just arrived fresh :D
One of the many bbq places in karachi, but it's the only one that matches Zameer Ansari and Ghaffar kebab when it comes to bbq. Favorites are fry kebab and reshmi kebab. Do try it. Drawback: no ac in family hall on first floor, so i normally have it packed for home.
Here is the first real review on this restaurant, all other reviews below are just people raking up points. Smh. AnywayKebabistan is a bbq joint, similar to you can say Kababjees, but with more moderate prices and its located on Gulshan side which really lacked a decent bbq and Desi restaurant other than the age old Usmania. Food = excellent. You wont regret it. I had the grilled bbq platter with a number of bbq items, all spiced the right level. Service was prompt too, as i feel they already have many bbq items on the grill so it's easier to serve quickly.
Copy cat of Arizona Grill, mixture of continental items, steaks and fast food. Above average for avid eaters, but good spot for those who rarely dine out in a some what fine dining setting.
I'm assuming this is the Quetta Alamgir hotel, which has the best lachay daar paratha in karachi. Order this paratha with omelette and doodh pati, if you are lucky enough to find a parking spot because this place is jam packed for breakfast, specially during weekends.
This makes me sad. This bakery used to have the best egg biscuits, the best eclairs, the best lemon tarts. We used to have our birthday cakes of custom designs made from here. This bakery was shutdown after the owners son was shot dead during and extortion attempt. The original branch however is still open and functioning at the PECHS/Nursery location.
Another old time survivor of bahadurabad, this place is almost four or five decades old. But it has been revamped into a modern fast food and bbq place over the years. While there is a wide variety bbq and fast food menu, and my favorite is there fish and chips, Tooso is famous for one thing: CLUB SANDWICH. Do try it.
Pros: cheaper compared to other ice cream places at bahadurabad such as happy ice cream and havmor. Also cleaner too. Cons: can't think of any. Raju Ice Cream or Peshawari ice cream, i normally get ice cream for whichever of these two is closer when im driving in this area haha
This used to be the place where we used to buy litre packs of ice cream. Never complained, great taste and flavor. But once saw their worker mixing blue dye in blueberry ice cream, and i realized that almost all ice cream shops in our city use tones of artificial flavor..
Another old survivor of the Bahadurabad food scene. Place is operating since decades. It's run by a Chinese family that also runs a photo studio next door. However I'm sorry to say the management has brought no innovation in the restaurant over the years. Menu is same, with all items tasting average. Prices meanwhile have gone up. I dont know why anyone will spend money here, unless they are mad like my people and go here just for nostalgia and old memories. There are much better places than this one.
After the Tariq Road branch shut down, this was only spot to get classic beef burgers in the area. Burgers are good but I feel portion sizes are small in the price range.
Another old timer in Bahadurabad, it's been operational since late 1990s/early 2000s. But never been a fan, it's slightly above average fast food. Fries are good though, i always order them whenever friends hang out around here.
Before Roll Corner became famous at bahadurabad, this place on the street next to OPTP was famous for its beef kebab rolls. And it still lives as one of the old survivors of Bahadurabad food scene
My childhood bakery. I in fact visited it two days ago, they had a super large pizza for sale for 500 rupees, and single slice for 90 rupees. Bought it, it was amazing. Other good items are their mini pizzas and pattice. They used have stuffed chicken and cheese bread rolls, not sure if still available
One of the better Johnny branches. My experience here was totally opposite of the DHA branch: succulent and saucy burgers. Plus I had a free burger coupon, which made the meal twice as good. Branch is nice and spacious too with first floor seating
They have upped their game over the years. Falooda is the number one product. Ice creams are now served with proper flavor syrups and sauces. Even ice creams with chocolates are available such as kitkat ice cream. Nice to see this old time improve and update its menu items over the years.
While their falooda and ice cream is good, the hot espresso coffee is the number one item here. Drop by for a hot cup.
From every iftar to every tea party at home, feefo has been our number one choice to get meethi dahi mongay. Unbelievable consistency in taste since decades. Recommended
Been a regular customer since decades. High quality mithai. Often drop by to enjoy their kulfi
The pioneer of beef bihari kebabs and kheeri in this part of town. It's been open since 1960s. They don't have a proper restaurant for seating, but hundreds of people enjoy their bbq by the roadside every night
I wouldn't stop writing if I start about this place.. Its been around since 1960s, and my family has been regular customers. Best beef bihari kebabs with golden crisp parathyroid and always served with a side of green raita and onions. Another special is their kheeri (cow udder) which are very chewy but deliciously spicy. Seating is roadside, and most people even eat in their own car. I normally bring a tray from home and enjoy this awesome BBQ in my car.
This is a mini stall with rooftop seating, located outside Askari 4 (shell pump). Pricey, but amazing wings
The wings are all amazing but it feels really weird to play around 1000-1200 for few pieces of chicken... You can get whole bucket at kfc for that much
Slightly pricey, but quality Asian cuisine. Do try their crispy beef.
Cleanest and hygienic paani puri. This place and the aunty paani puri place in Tariq Road are the two best spots to have this item.
I have a dream that some day this bakery will have 100% fresh times. Bought cake, it was good, bought cup cakes, they tasted and smelled bad. Ridiculous. And they never admit their mistake.
Right next to Meerath kebab house. Super amazing classic peshawari ice cream. Favorite flavors are strawberry cheesecake, blueberry, mango in the season, and of course peshawari
Undisputed number 1 leader in Burgers. Swiss mushroom melt is so amazing that I want to marry it hahaha. I think this is the first place I have rated all 5 stars on this app. Try their mini sliders too.
Beef burgers with the original classic peppery taste, this is old school for original burger lovers. But drawback for me is that their burgers are small for the price range, when many other burger joints are selling great tasting and larger burgers at similar prices.
This place was the bomb back in university days, a deal of personal pizza with drink for 250-300. Thankfully they have maintained the quality over the years, unlike many eateries.
Best part about this branch is that peshawari ice cream is also next to it ¿¿¿¿ so when you are packing delicious bbq for dinner you can get dessert too!! They have maintained great taste and quality since years.
Absolutely dry and tasteless burgers. Made the mistake of ordering for lunch at office once. Never again. Much better places in town, don't waste time here
I have waited at this branch a lot of times while waiting for a car or careem to pick me up. Once the management was kind enough to offer me a free drink while I stood at their door waiting for my ride. Food like all branches is good if eaten fresh at the place
Average taste and average over priced burgers. Shakes are good though.
A much better option than subway, as sandwiches at Hoagies are more filling. Most importantly they have amazing flat bread pizzas, which are exceptionally good. Recommended.
This place was over priced desi food and Karahi. It has shut down, unsurprisingly. Cafe Deja Vu is open in its place.
This place was over priced desi food and Karahi. It has shut diwn
I have to commend this branch for quick deliveries to office during lunch hours. Specially when one is in mood for sundae, it is delivered quick without melting.
The evergreen buffet by the sea in Karachi. Price is decent, so can't complain much about food quality and taste. However, their menu has remained exactly the same since last 10-15 years or as far as I remember since my first visit here as a kid. Need to update!
They too have developed the habit of serving bad food lately. Hit and miss. I have had multiple good and bad experiences. Specially with the slow service and a lot of waiting time for order. I'll give them 4 stars for the food, as last experience was good.
Fuchsia was once the pioneer of a Thai food in Karachi. But it's another case of quality going down with each passing year. With competition from new Pan Asian places and better variety at Tao, they really need to up their game. I'd recommend people to go to Tao at Boat Basin instead of Fuchsia
Service is extremely slow. Food is average. Coffee is...good, but other items being subpar is a real turn off. At least we get a free cookie on FB check-in
Tried it once, too overpriced, and too powdery. Hey Day at Dolmen and Lucky One sells much better ice creams and desserts at lower price
Pros: best old school bbq!! Love their fried kebabs, grilled fish, malai boti, nihari. Cons: air conditioned area is only for families, and rooftop can get a bit hot..
This outlet doesn't offer the full menu as the original branch, but not bad to grab quick ice-cream during working hours.
One of the oldest eateries at Sharae Faisal, it's bustling with crowd during office lunch breaks. Best for haleem, biryani, and zardah
A nice place for great desi food. Specially liked their Mandi. It has closed down..
It's the idea upscale place for desi food lovers. They have a daily menu of comfort home food items such as daals, vegetable curries, and meat curries which we normally eat at home. Karahis are also good
This place used to be the ideal shisha spot during college days. Food is pretty substandard. I remember having the zero degree special chicken, which was half burnt from one side, so there you go..
This branch, being the original, is better than the one at Karsaz (which was dirty and full of flies). Burgers are okayish, their patties miss the great peppery punch of classic burgers
The ever green Bundu Khan, the ideal place for BBQ. Only drawback for this branch at phase 5 Badar Commercial is that its right opposite Daily Dubai, and honestly comparing the two I would prefer Daily Dubai though..
Decent thin crust pizzas. One problem though which is a common recurrence: they tend to overdo pizzas, especially delivery orders, which makes the pizza dryer and looks like less filling is used. Need to improve this aspect
They have a perfect deal for 2 for around 1400 per head that includes one starter, 2 mains, one dessert and 2 drinks. Do try their Coppa Romano for dessert, one of the best ice creams in Karachi.
Only good for fried fish items. Biryani are average. They are literally the same rice and they mix chicken in it when you order chicken biryani and prawns in it if you order prawn biryani etc etc. Very over hyped place
These guys have lost the plot. Average Lebanese food, high prices, long serving times. Not going back, no reason too as there are better Lebanese places
This was the number 1 go to branch before they opened in Bahadurabad too. Best for rolls and fried chicken burger
For diet conscious peeps this was the place to have your low calories food delivered to you at work. Quality has gone down while prices remain high.. I have no reason to order from them again, except for their juices maybe.
Weird branch. It has a small dining area with self service. No cutlery. But food is good if eaten when served fresh from the oven.
It's a small shop opposite Chips Fast Food at Badar Commercial phase 5. But after Manakesh this is the best shwarma place in the area
Avoid. Ordered fish and chips once. Took them 2 hours to deliver. Cold and useless. Their fries, their chief business item, is highly sub standard. A roadside cart sells better fries.
The only branch other than KDA one where all items are available. Other items are usually short of one thing or the other. Keep it up.
This place is only good for millennials, who can enjoy sheesha legally on the first floor. Food menu is standard continental, steaks and fast food. Food is at max above average for me. Price range is decent, they often have deals for 2 or 3 persons for around 1500-2000
Decent burgers, but like many places the quality is going down with every passing year. This is the problem with Karachi, eateries stop giving a damn after few years. Do try their loaded fries. One mark for service because every time I visited they were closed or on break so had to wait 20 mins for shutter to reopen
Small place with a budget menu. Fish chicken and beef is what FCB means. Tried their rolls and fish burger. Not bad in the price range
This is the number one place for burgers in Karachi for me. Thick succulent patties, loads of condiments and sauces, and generally larger sized burgers. Extreme chili blast and the messy burger are favorites. They have nutella donut burger too for dessert. The branch has now been extended, so it's less congested.
For those who travel around Phase 2, this place has been the ultimate meet up point. Fresh juices on the go. A One snacks is nearby as well, so while having juice you can have dinner packed from A One for later ¿¿¿¿
For those who travel around Phase 2, this place has been the ultimate meet up point. Fresh juices on the go. A One snacks is nearby tii
Can't beat their Lebanese cuisine. Better than Paramount. Do try their pizzas and shwarma
Ordered once at work. Average. Baba Biryani and Madni remain the best
It's amazing how this not so famous chain has many branches. Not bad to grab a gyro on way home from work..
This branch is always packed due to office crowd. Busy with deliveries too. Taste is top notch if you can get a hot serving during dine-in
Nice variety in burgers and other items such as wings and rice items. But burgers sometimes are too peppery. Easy on the sauces please..
I feel service has gone down over the years, BUT still not a bad place for breakfast
Smaller branch, and even the food is a bit sub par compared to the original
The original powerhouse of wide variety budget menu. Famous for its ice creams. The best tried and tested items here include: the ice cream, boneless haandi, reshmi kebab, katakat, fish zinger burger.
They have the best roast beef burgers and Desi style grilled cheese pizzas. Steaks are not bad for the price range of around 500-600
Oldest chaat place in k town. 50 years old. Spiciest and amazing chaat
Great budget Chinese food in the center of bahadurabad food street. Normally go there to have wings and chopsuey which are enough for two people
One of the best part about this chain is that it's located in all major areas. Had to buy a cake as a quick gift/emergency thing, and BOOM found a Pie in the Sky outlet in front of me
This branch has more bulk orders it appears, as food is served quickly and their ovens are working non stop. Great taste when eaten fresh and straight from the oven
Comfort food. High prices but great quality. Love their desserts. Service is top notch. Menu is diverse, from savory snacks and sandwiches to Asian, italian, and grilled food.
This is review for Dolmen Mall kiosk. Worse staff ever. Never guide properly, make mistakes in billing etc etc. I'm normally a polite person but here I have to deal with them aggressively and repeat my order loudly so that they don't dare screw up with me
This branch is weird, the covered area is small, but they got three floors. Always looks crowded and dense. Food is on point though when fresh
Another place with wide variety and budget menu, means not so great on taste but good value for money.
This perhaps my first, or maybe second negative review on this app. Avoid. This is not like the original döner you get in Germany. Absolutely dry and tasteless, and then they charge you more for dips. Place is nice and decent but food isn't worth it.
If you like budget food with lots of variety, then this place is perfect for you. BBQ, fast food, Chinese, chaat, ice cream, juices and shakes, this place got it all. Taste is a bit compromised but that is why this place costs lower than most eateries
Fresh goodies from Pie in the Sky now available at Shell Select at Askari 4!!!
Nice variety menu, from burgers to gyros to Chinese to fried chicken. And economical too.
Undisputed best roadside chaat for me. Been having their chana chaat and paani puri since I was a kid.
Service is extremely slow, otherwise this branch maintains the quality taste of peri peri chicken.
Pros: large diverse menu. Burgers to rice items to ice cream varieties. Cons: hit and miss. Sometimes it sucks, when they put too many peppery sauces in the burgers
Better than Pizza Hut and all those others pizza max pizza one etc etc. Cali is number one choice for thick crust pan pizzas
